Health Centers, Inc. (HCHC) is a non-profit
federally qualified health center providing
high quality medical, dental and behavioral
health services to the rural hilltown communities
of Western Massachusetts since 1950.
There are many ways that you can make a difference
in your community. We have a number of projects
underway that you could support by making
a one-time tax free contribution. Or, you may

Projects Underway
The Hilltown Community Health Center is embarked
on an exciting project to expand the Huntington
Health Center. The center, which now serves
nearly 4,000 residents of the southern Hilltowns,
has grown dramatically over the past several
years, and the health center would like to add
new services for the community such as optometry
and physical therapy. Our mission is to improve
the health of all our community residents without
regard to income level or insurance status.
About the Expansion Project
The expansion will double the number of medical
examination rooms, enlarge the waiting area,
create a larger lab and make the whole facility
more efficient, comfortable and accessible to
the community.
When the building expansion and renovation
is completed, the Huntington Health Center will
have not only 1800 sq. feet of additional beautiful
and functional space but also will have undergone
extensive renovations to the existing 1200 sq.
foot structure.

Project Update
The Huntington health center renovation is proceeding
on schedule. By the first of July, we expect patients
to be back in the newly renovated waiting room. The
front desk area will have been completely gutted and
made comfortable for our consumers. By September 1st,
the entire project will have been completed including
all new exam rooms, a new record room, nursing station,
lab, and pharmacy. We appreciate the patience of the
health center users as well as our outstanding staff!

off at the Huntington Health Center front desk. Indicate
that it is a donation to the Expansion Fund in the
memo section of the check. Any amount will be greatly
