Executive Assistant & Marketing Coordinator–Worthington

Seeking to fill this full time position. As the Executive Assistant, provide administrative support to the CEO and to the Board of Directors. As Marketing Coordinator, responsible for planning, development and implementation of all of the organization’s marketing strategies, communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal, in collaboration with the Development Director. Minimum 3 years’ experience in marketing, communications or public relations with demonstrated success, preferably in the not-for-profit sector. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations or journalism preferred. Ability to work autonomously and follow through with projects from start to finish. Organizational skills, computer skills and excellent communication skills a must, along with the ability to respect confidentiality. Raiser’s Edge and WordPress experience a plus.

Child Witness Advocate – Huntington

Seeking P/T Child Witness Advocate to work as part of a Community Health Team. Provide support and advocacy services to children who witness domestic violence with emphasis on both supporting children and supporting the bond between the child and the non-offending parent. The advocate will work with children, with non-offending parents, and with Domestic Violence Advocates. The Child Witness Advocate will also work in collaboration with HCHC Community Health Workers and Community Health Team in order to address the full spectrum of children’s needs, and will work closely with other community service providers and the Southern Hilltown Domestic Violence Task Force. The ideal candidate will be a team player and will be skilled at working with children as well as developing relationships and collaborating with a broad range of people in order to coordinate services and meet the needs of children. Experience working within the field of domestic violence and working with children required. The Child Witness Advocate will also assist with outreach and education efforts in collaboration with the Southern Hilltown Domestic Violence Task Force and Safe Passage. Qualifications include BA degree or equivalent. Car required and must be able to provide transportation for clients provided it is deemed safe through a safety protocol. Knowledge of community and rural services preferred. The ability to collaborate and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team is a must. Community Health Worker – Huntington/Worthington

Do you want to make a difference in the health of your community? Are you intrigued by the idea of working independently to form relationships within your community to help patients solve often complex social and health issues? Do you have a commitment to working with at-risk populations? Are you a team player, willing to work with a diverse group?

This is a F/T position to work with patients to develop action plans and overcome barriers to better manage their own health. You’ll be responsible for increasing patients’ access to health care and community resources. Our CHW is active in health center provider teams; documents patient’s progress; works at health centers and in the community including home visits. Qualifications include 3+ years of health/social services experience and/or post-high school education in a related field. Must have a verifiable good driving record and reliable transportation.  Must be computer literate and knowledge of Hilltown culture and resources required. Residents of Hilltowns of W. MA preferred. Domestic Violence Program Supervisor – Huntington

Seeking candidate to fill this P/T position as the coordinator of the Hilltown Safety at Home program and supervisor of program staff. Coordinate the integration of the Domestic Violence Advocates and other staff into other HCHC programs through outreach, training and collaboration. Responsible for maintaining relationships with community partners. Work in collaboration with State and Regional DV agencies, State and local police, court personnel, and other area agencies. Minimum of 5 years working in the field preferred. LICSW a plus. Able to conduct one’s self within established professional and ethical boundaries. Working knowledge of rural services and needs an advantage. Able to establish effective, positive working relationships, internal and external.

Health Access Outreach Worker – Huntington

P/T position to provide health access, information/referral services and outreach to area residents. Responsibilities include demonstrating expertise in: eligibility and enrollment rules and procedures; the range of qualified health plan options and insurance affordability programs; the needs of underserved and vulnerable populations; privacy & security standards. High school diploma or GED required. Min 1 year relevant exp. Working auto and MA driver’s license required. Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality. Working knowledge of Hilltown community and available services required. Experience providing rural outreach preferred. Community resident preferred.

Dentist

Hilltown Community Health Centers, Inc., incorporated in 1950, provides primary medical care, general dentistry, mental health, optometry, and community outreach in three different sites, as well as medical and full dental services in the school based health center at the local, regional middle/high school. Our mobile dental clinic also provides services to local elementary schools and is in the process of extending to additional school districts. We’re seeking a dentist to work P/T or F/T and join our growing multi-site team.

We have a very caring and dedicated staff of 31, many who have been with us for 10-20 years. Our staff includes 9 full or part-time dentists and 9 full or part- time hygienists with varying levels of experience. We provide quality dental care including emergency treatment, endodontics, extractions, amalgam and composite restorations, crown and bridge work, implant restorations, full and partial dentures, soft tissue management, and early childhood caries risk management program for kids starting at age one. We are working to increase our interdepartmental integration to provide fully integrated care to our patients. We treat a full range of patients including many seniors and children. Although a high percentage of our patients are low income, we also treat insurance and self-pay patients who live in our rural area. We have excellent specialists available for necessary referrals and advice. Future plans are to expand care to local assisted living/nursing homes.

The health centers are located in the beautiful foothills of the Berkshire Mountains in Western Massachusetts. We are a 30 minute drive from Northampton and Westfield as well as other towns in Pioneer Valley which is also home to the 5 college area of Smith, Amherst, Hampshire, Mt. Holyoke, and UMass. Quality of life is excellent with numerous recreational, cultural, and educational opportunities. Entry level salary will commensurate with experience with possible eligibility for state and federal educational loan repayment programs. Excellent benefits include 4 weeks’ vacation, paid sick leave, personal and holiday time, 2 weeks’ continuing education time with $2,000 for CE compensation costs, malpractice insurance, health and dental insurance, as well as payment of licensing renewal fees.

Current Massachusetts Dentist License, competent clinical skills, experience in Pediatric dentistry a plus, Spanish language skills are highly valued. Applicants should have a strong commitment to community health and care of underserved populations.
